The Vietnam Forum on Hospital Quality Management and Patient Safety was a key component of a three-year project (2015-2017) initiated by the National Center for Global Health and Medicine (NCGM) and the All Japan Hospital Association (AJHA). The forum brought together Vietnamese hospital quality management professionals to share practical experiences and discuss the application of quality and safety practices. The project’s goal was to stimulate knowledge exchange and promote improvements in hospital quality and patient safety within Vietnam. The resulting book, compiled from forum abstracts and presentations, offers a snapshot of the diverse approaches and challenges encountered by Vietnamese hospitals in their quality management and patient safety efforts.
